We spent the day at Papa’s (my Dad) house yesterday to give Aaron some time to work on his grad school stuff and while we were there we did this fun penguin art project! For those of you that don’t know me, I have been a creative person since the day I can remember and being able to do art projects with Dash brings so much joy to my heart. Art and creativity is in my bones and if I don’t have an outlet I go a little nuts.
I realized while doing this project that not only did Dash enjoy doing this, but my Dad did also. Everyone had so much fun I wanted to share this project template (scroll to bottom of post to download) with you guys so you could try it out too. You don’t need a lot of fancy materials, just some construction paper, cotton balls, glue and scissors, and it’s a quick project that doesn’t make a lot of mess or take a lot of time. We all know how short 3 year old attention spans are. You can prep the pieces ahead of time also which will cut down on even more time or if your child isn’t dexterous enough yet to use scissors.
I hope you guys have as much fun as we did :-). If you guys like seeing these types of projects/templates let me know and I’ll post more!
