About me

Profile Pic - circle.png

My name is Jess, I am an artist, wife and recently became a mommy to an energetic baby boy named Dash. I am a freelance illustrator with a love for paper goods, style, crafting and nature.

This blog is a place for me to share my artwork, projects and snippets from my daily life as a new mother and creative spirit. Thanks for stopping by :-).

Are you available for personal commission paintings and drawings?

Yes! I am currently accepting commissions. Feel free to shoot me an email and we can talk more. Please keep in mind the holiday season books up fast, so if you want to schedule a spot the sooner the better.

I need a logo or other design work done, how does that work?

Send me a message and if you are local (Rochester, NY), we can set up a meeting! If you are not local send me a detailed description of what you are looking for and we can go from there. :-)

Can you design my wedding invitation/save the date/etc?

Yes! Feel free to contact me and I can send you more information :-).

Do you sell items locally?

I do! I currently have greeting cards in both F.Olivers Oil and Vinegar, The Mendon Coop and Wisteria Flowers & Gifts. I will also be at many art fairs, stay tuned for an updated list for the current year :-). In the mean time, feel free to check out my Etsy shop, click "shop" in the links above.

Can you design my tattoo?

Unfortunately, I do not design tattoos :-(. But if you'd like to use one of my pieces as a tattoo please feel free and if you post a picture tag me! I'd love to see how it turned out!

I want to buy one of your paintings I saw on social media, how can I do that?

I have original paintings and prints in my Etsy shop, if there is a specific piece you love and can't find there please message me and I will let you know if it's still available.

Where did you study?

I went to several schools (the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, MCC and St. John Fisher) however, never received a degree in art. I am mostly self taught and have had the wonderful fortune of being able to receive some mentorship from local artists and professors.

If you have any other questions that I haven't covered here, please feel free to send me a message. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have! :-)
